Driver in Irvington crash returned to Mobile to face charges

A 17-year-old who Alabama State Troopers said caused a three-vehicle crash Oct. 24 was returned tonight to Mobile and jailed on five charges of first-degree assault and one probation revocation charge, the Mobile County Metro Jail said.

Ida is expected to reach the Gulf Coast by Tuesday morning, though forecasters believe it will have weakened by that point.
